It is for this reason that the Bulgarian Innovation Confederation and Brain Storm Consult have decided to create the key link and introduce a new event in the public business environment, which will be a key tool for raising investments.
This type of forums arouse the interest not only of innovators who are looking for funding for their innovative idea, or of investors who are looking for an innovation to develop, but also of other visitors who are part of the business community in Bulgaria. Such events provoke visitors to think about the economic climate in Bulgaria and its need for innovative ideas to support its development.

On November 11, 2017, in Sofia Tech Park – John Atanassov Hall, the First International Business Forum was organized under the title: “The future form of cooperation between innovators and investors.”
The forum was held under the patronage of Mr. Dimitar Glavchev, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The event was attended by innovators and investors who exchanged experiences and ideas in the scientific fields of “HI TECH” and “ROBOTIZATION”. Some of the topics were related to: “Blockchain technology, what are cryptocurrencies and how do ICO / token sale work as a financing tool”; “Smokeless products”, “Modern calculations in favor of innovation” and others.
20 innovative products in the field of high technology and robotics were presented. The hall was attended by over 500 investors from various business sectors. Lecturers from Bulgarian and international universities took part, including Prof. Georgi Chobanov, Dr. Stanislav Harizanov, Dr. Svetlin Nakov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tonev, Dr. Kamelia Terziyska, as well as the Bulgarian EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Maria Gabriel Society. The host of the forum was Velislava Petrova, PhD student in virology and genetics at Cambridge University.
